Come here when you wanna know what to think about your life and the world you live in. I know everything and nothing, at the same time.

I know you dont believe me.

This post has been open since 10 am this morning and I can't say that every minute of the day was filled with urgent matters. But I was definitely engrossed in some ish that needed to be taken care of.

As we speak, both my squads (the Lakers and the Wizards) are set to respectively square off, plus my college-dude, Ty Lawson with the Heels is runnin. So I doubt I get to anything tonight.

But I'm recommitting myself to the blog...u watch.

Thisisrealmusic.com -- January

Yall know me and a small crew of friends are trying to take over music media with our website -- thisisrealmusic.com, right? It's a monthly e-zine and it's growing and getting better with each issue. Support your boy and go check it out this month and if you dig it, tell your friends to go check it, too. We got lots of stuff for you this month, Nas review, Mos Def review, James Brown appreciation, Jazz Survivor Series, Music Dude introducing a new genre of music, a review of this white girl from Europe that sounds like Lauryn (Amy Winehouse), answering the question Is Hip Hop Dead, an essay on music's generation gap.

Next month will be even bigger. Show some love.

Music Dude returns

I think there's a new genre of music out there, now, and it spawned from hip hop, soul, funk, jazz, rock and all the other black music. We call it Bridge. I wrote about it on our music e-magazine thisisrealmusic.com. Check out the essay here.
