A failed attempt at a Swoopes blog.
Let's see if I can get this Swoopes blog out in about five minutes without turning it into a novel.
My nigga Dubb posted a comment today asking why this is even a surprise (but in classic Dubb fashion, he asked if her lover was Chief Fong from Frisco). I'm not surprised, because i wouldn't be surpised if any of the WNBA chicks were lesbos.
But Swoopes was married and had a kid...so i guess i didnt suspect it too much.
Her semi-diary on ESPN.com was interesting. She said she doesn't think she was born gay, which i also believe.
Actually...u know what...too many issues here and not enough time. maybe i'll return to this...but yall know me, probably not.
I'm hoping my girl J gets busy w/ a column on this subject. it needs a female voice...not some stupid white man yakkin off at the mouth.
Don't know what ur plans are for the week, J, but i hope u get on this.

No you didn't just post on both blogs. And I refuse to believe you sashayed on to my blog trying to drop exhibit As and Bs.
Some kudos in order. I never knew this box set existed -- one that says Miles Davis and John Coltrane. These are all recording of Miles albums dropped from about 55-61. Trane didn't get billing on any of these albums. He was a sideman like Bills Evans was a Miles sideman or Philly Joe Jones was a Miles sideman.
So when I said Trane doesn't have a box set on Columbia, I was speaking of him, Trane, having his very own set -- like his Impulse box or his Heavyweight Champ set from his Prestige stuff.

Uh-huh. Whatever. You could have IMed me instead of just calling my shit out. And still, all of that is neither here nor there. The box set exists, I own it, and I could listen to it forever. That was the point. So why didn't you leave it at that and Google it before you opened your big mouth?

i was so sure trane nevr recorded an album for columbia i didnt ned to google.
u know us journalist...we deal with semantics, i read ur post wrong. no biggie.
