Ye on Bush
A lot of people have been emailing about this Kanye situation. Was he right? Was he wrong? My man Gee posted a comment that I feel was dead on.
Ye is just an honest dude. He said what most every black person already believes. Its been rehashed countless times over the past few days and I don't have much more to add.
My sis Lyd however did point to the fact that perhaps Ye couldve done so either in a different forum or used more tact. She presented Oprah's comment about 'America owing the NO residents an apology' as an example of how to censure the government without being sensational or provocative. But Lyd also said that its young people's responsibility and role to be provocative and I agree.
I applaud Ye on his honesty, though.
And I still got that Late Registration review in the holster for you as well. Close to 900,000 kopped that album last week and I'd be surprised if 9,000 were dissapointed. It's a banger...and very soon I will tell you why.
